I don't like the Eagle GT's on my GTI VR6. The ride is noticeably harsher than my Falken ZE-912's I replaced, and the car feels like a completely different animal. It's not as fun to drive anymore. Straight line tracking seems less sure, and road noise has increased. I truly wish I hadn't spent the money I did for these. How are they working out for you? Curious to read other experiences with the Eagle GT.
I just replaced my girlfriends 2007 Toyota Camry LE (4cyl) with Goodyear Eagle GT. The old Michelin's were worn out and CRACKING bad. Although the shop pumped up the tires to 33psi (rather than the suggested stock 30psi) - they handle very well. A marked improvement over the OLD Michelin's. It doesn't fight me turns and curved highways nearly as much. They are a bit noisier (possibly because of +3psi) but I really like handling. They're right, its not super tight on center. Bit of float.
@sweetlew33 what year is your mustang? I am looking at putting these on my 2000 mustang convertible and I'm curious as to how long the tread life is on these. I mainly drive highway (80+miles a day).
im fiting tyres the last 8 years and id recomend kumho ku31s,i use them my self and youl find they work out a good bit cheaper than the other brands in this clip,im not sure about the u.s but in europe continental michellin ect cost alot more than kumhos and are not that much better for the price difference!!

Kumhos are great tires. I highly recommend the ASX's. I've had a good experience with them.

I personally would go with the avid w4s or eagle gt. if you dont drive aggressive then you should go for wet traction & comfort.
