To get it mounted like 2:48,do you need to buy any additional items to make it stick? Or is that mount able to stick by itself?

You may just clip to the strap of your goggle, or to add extra security to make use the equipped foot long 3M Dual Lock fastening strip and mount to your helmet. The 2010 XC has been discontinued, but you can get the 2011 XC HD now. Extra 3M Dual Lock fastening strip is sold on our website.

A lot of our users wear that on the dive mask. I suggest the Micro due to it is smaller, but the full size XC with HD won't weight anymore in the water.

my tachyon i purchased last week did not come with remote control, nor with any means to fasten to a helmet. It did have a universal mount but i dont see how it can fasten to helmet without having to drill through it. i have purchased some 3m commander velcro strips but im not sure if theey are strong enough to hold.

The Universal mount of the Micro has contour bottom and sides, it is designed to make use of the 3M Dual Lock fastening strip to secure to the helmet.

All older XC mounts work with the 2011 XC, the answer is yes.

Unfortunately the Handlebar mount does not fit the Micro.

I'm curious about what side mount you all use at 2:59( A guy with a tippmann or other guns with his mask on) cause i saw th side mount at your website is only for the right side of your helmet. I cant find any of your product that is for th left.

That was a XC Micro, allowing to mount to both sides of the helmet. Actually that smaller camera is more suitable for paintball.

I am considering purchasing this camera. Is it possible to strap onto the head without using a helmet. I plan on using it whilst flying gliders. I don't wear a helmet so would need to wear the camera on my bare head. Also how well is it to light change. Obviously I may turn into the sun and need good quality in the light change.  Thanks

We have never experience the Coremicro card, it is not available at Amazon and cannot find that at Google as well. Transcend may be a little more expensive, but they are really a class 6 card. We tried Topram is OK too.

This needs a recharge connection for rechargeable batteries .

Opening it up to constantly to change batteries will only cause wear on the door & lessen the water proof sealing.

Hopefully on the 2011 version.

Thanks for the suggestion and mentioned the concern to avoid wear out the water seal and latch. But it is a good practice to remove the batteries cartridge, keep the lid open and keep XC inside a Ziploc bag to release the pressure to the springs and waterproof seal.

You are testing and hopefully can suggest to everybody shortly a rechargeable batteries soon.

FYI, the optional Green Power Pack works well to give the continuous feed of power from a wall socket or a car lighter socket.
