Why does this sort of remind me vaguely of Monkey Island? Weird. I wish I'd grown up in a family that could have afforded me piano lessons; as it is I have to struggle on to learn entirely on my own steam, and with the wax and wane of my motivation to labor through the first and most difficult years of learning I sometimes feel that it will be decades before I achieve my dream. Even so, I'll continue to dance my fingers over those keys until I can play well!

Wonderful to watch and listen to your playing Ghena. I do not know much of Tchaikovsky music, and do please forgive me for being another one of those that searched out this peice after watching that movie, you know, 'Orphan'. Heard my neighbour play this last week and I have picked it back up as well. I wish I could play this well.

Had my new year resolution almost 2 years ago when I got inspired by little Aimi, went out and purchased a piano after not having touched one for 10+ years. My resolution was also an hour per day! I have been exceeding it by far for passed 2 years. It's so much joy to practice, never a chore ... well, except practicing warm-up scales. :)
