I thought Ritchie right away, and I love that approach. Stevie Ray, as well. The shredders are lost people, and that is why guitar music is so vacuous today. I can't tell many of them apart, but when I hear Jeff Beck? I know it's him, or a handful of real players are instantly recognizable. I'm not confident in my own sound yet, but I have time to develop it.
