@mcflywings Yes I believe that is the rationale of the election. That said, it is apparent, if it is not you than I am sorry, that PAP has not been up to the task of governing our nation. To put it simply, their policies drives up GDP and inflation simultaneously. They assumed that a rise in GDP will directly or indirectly translate to a general wage rise and an increase in SOL of our people. However, any educated individual can explain to you the many errors with this assumption.

@bidamaix When Singapore gained independence in 1965, many of the 1st generations of PAP did not have experience as well but they still managed to pull the country through during the early difficult times. So why doubt the NSP and other oppositions for their inexperience? What they are filling to fight for is all that matters.

In libya,egypt,tunisia you see govt fall not because they are inexperience, but rather they have lost touch with their own citizens, when their cries are noise to them.
