yeah i have also been on that boat MANY times<3...but when it belongs to sweden of course and her name was "birka princess"...<3<3<3 that was my first trrip with a cruise ever...oh i will always love birka princess!!
I go to West Forsyth High in North Carolina. My teacher went on the boat on her 2 week vacation. Once we heared the news about her on the boat we laughed.
Not true by any means, These cruises are actually very safe with numerous failsafes employed. Also it is impossible to just think about money in those instances because insurance premiums on Cruise Lines are through the roof, they have to be very safe just to secure insurance. Without insurance there is no cruise. Yes, that is the only checks and balance that there really needs to be to ensure a safe cruise, but there are others!
Cruises are less dangerous than airlines,you just need to get information about the ship age, and owners, I agree some shipowners only takes care for profit. Nowadays we have good technoloy in order to avoid these disasters...
