Also hhbatty..My Friend..Let It Be Clear...That we do not pray to saints Astagfirualh..merely respect and love them for being so close to the Almighty Allah (SWT).. it is a great misconseption of many ppl or merely an ignorant assumption to state that singing a naat is praying to a saint...no my friend, we respect all..and naturally have been brought up to respect elders.. therefore a friend of Allah (SWT) deserves infinitive respect...but the choice is yours.

Give me evidence and proof that what you recommend was practiced by the Prophet pbuh and his companions and tabaeens.

No they did not do any such acts at the graves and no singing and music. Where do you get these new ideas. All religion is what we were taught by the prophet pbuh. There is no room for additions or substractions from it.

Not asking help is sheer pride, therefore naats make the lovers and mureeds hearts blossom out of sheer respect..it's ignorant to brand pure love to be shirk.
