@mmbbffls they wont necsessaryly look dull it just most people think it looks better with custom content but just cuz you have custom content doesnt mean your movies good cuz you could have a rubbish story line =P

if your refuring to the camera view you access through the tab key no you dont have to use that in order to make a sims video... if your refuring to the icon of a video camera that is located beneath the picture of your sim on the bottom left corner in gameplay then yes you have to use that in order to make a sims video.

No you dont have to put them in. The cheats just helps make the movies easier to record and it also makes the movies look better with out the thinking bubbles and green diamond over there heads (which you have to remove by putting in the cheats for it)

You dont need to go on to any websites to make the characters and sets all of that is done in game play and in the create sim area which is found in the game. You do have to go to websites to download things that are not in the game if you would like extra things. modthesims2 and sims2 has great free downloads.

I would reccomend build L shaped walls and filling them with the furniture you want. It works really well because you create different scenes and it dosn't cost as much money! There are a few tips on a movie of the sims 2 team's movie makers. Search for it on utube. :P

forget about that. for modthesims2, all you need to do is click on download, click the file, then save it under downloads...you need to convert the zip and rar files, i think the software is called WinRAR, u can download a free trial version.

Sorry i didnt see this question until now if you still want to know moveobjects(on) will allow you to move anything anywhere you want. All you have to do in order to get several diffrent buildings on to one lot is buy the biggest lot they offer you and build as many diffrent buildings/houses as you want on there.

when you turn the free will off your sim will not do anything unless if you tell them to, other then run up to fights and fires. so it is helpful when making movies.

yes after you hit tab there are several keys you can use to get diffrent angles.

Q which i believe is up, E which i believe is down, A which i belive is left, D which i believe is right, Z which i believe is zoom out, and X which i believe is zoom in. though i havent used those angles in a while so i may not remember it correctily. you can always goggle it and find out the correct button / angles.
