my $0.02. I didn't use an impact wrench, just a 7/8 wrench and a hammer (also in reverse to re-install). I also used liquid soap to install the new tire and tube instead of having a shop do it, a little cheaper but a little more work.
@supcuz1985 I cannot give you much advise, but it would be wise to purchase a repair manual. At least check, and change the oil every 1,000 miles. I never changed the front tire yet.
I have a 94' elite. I followed your great video directions for accessing back tire only to notice printed on the rim, "tubeless tire accommitable". I could have used tubeless tires? Installing new tires and tubes was quite challanging. (Hard lesson learned) If you want to keep your rims looking their best, have your tire professionally mounted. Craig, thank you so much for your "video classroom." Really helped this visual learner.
@fiertruk I dont know if you could use tubeless tires. I just used a tubed tire which the scooter was originally equipped with. With tubeless tires i imagine the bead of the rim would have to be specifically designed to prevent leaks, and a valve stem installed which the rim never had. Having the tire mounted professionally not only makes the rim look better. It is also safer for you.

coolmdog55 1 year ago
@coolmdog55 for the price of the tires its easier, and safer to buy them from ebay brand new. Besides my tires were wayyy unsafe.
