That's how great this game is. Always toying with your emotions. I've watched this scene several (hundred ) times and always end up in tears each time.
I do think what played on the sadness was after Zack pust Cloud down before he goes to fight that huge shinra army, when Zack walked away Cloud reached out his hand so you know he was alert. It was almost like cloud knew what was up, like he knew what was going happen. Idk that part just was kinda sad cuz cloud probably wanted to help but couldnt at the moment

If you look closely you can see the IMMEDIATE change in Cloud. He went from the smiling, hope filled kid to the closed off, distant Cloud of FFVII. I'm just glad that he got the chance to smile again when he sees Aeris and Zack at the end of AC.

@chickenexpress135 She's part of a group of Turks from the game Before Crisis that only came out on mobile phones in Japan. At the end of the game, she and all of her group escaped the Turks and are now living ordinary lives. Cissnei was in love with Zack tho...sad T_T
