Thanks for the videos! I totally agree with you about getting hands to play together - seperate first so it feels as natural as possible, then bring them together slowly.
I've also found it helps to 'tap' out the rhythm of a particular bar (i.e. without playing any notes on the piano - use a table top for example) first using one hand, then trying the other, then bringing them together. That will help get the rhythm sorted, then it's a matter of transferring that rhythm to the piano notes.
my advice: try to notice when you play both hands at the same time it really helps :P just learn the right hand and remember with which "left hand key" you play the right hand :D
I am a beginer and going pretty well with simplified versions, specially if they are played slow...I cant get the chords at this speed. How can you help me?
ohmygosh im such a beginner at piano, but how do you start with the right hand while playing with the left? soon as i start with right i'll lose the beat of the left and like yeaah...
Well, it's really hard at first.. so don't worry, it's the same with anybody. My hint to you is to practice really slowlly, beat per beat, thinking of the two hands as one single thing. It'll be lousy at the first times, but you'll get it as you keep on practicing.
@dheejhaay well what i do is practice with only the right hand, then go the left hand until i get them both down, then i go on to both of them and it is a bit easier.
Just a friendly hint you can try, it helped me "liberate" my hands.
When you are supposed to play a rythm, try to think what each hand has to hit at every exact moment.
If you think that this hand must play a beat and the other something else, you might lose it.
I was thinking that when i hit X note with the left, i was supposed to hit Y note with the right. And after slowly practising, i managed to make every hand independent :)
Its good, but all you americans or english-speking people don't know how to play! There have to be akcents! You know? Iam german, and the text is wrote for that melodie..and every word-part has a tone! when you would sing it like that playing, it would sound like shit! but thats my opinion^^
i have a question... how do you play 2 different parts without getting confused? i find it extremely hard to play 2 parts without losing track... does anyone know?
That's probably the greatest challenge of playing the piano!
I suggest you learn how to play each hand separately first. When you're able to play each one with some ease, try to put then together thinking of all parts as a single one. The sheet music gives you really helpful visual information to figure this out, so I also suggest you learn the basics of music notation.
The indepedence of the hands you'll come with practice.
This is because our left bain control the right part of body and viceversa. However, many of us are right handed therefore by using both hand playing piano, we train both our part brain.
The front part of the brain, cerebrum is divided into symmetric left and right cerebral hemispheres. The cerebrum directs the conscious or volitional motor functions of the body.feel free to comment and do research.
right hemisphere functions such as the processing of Visual and audiological stimuli, spatial manipulation, facial perception, and artistic ability such as music.Linear reasoning and language functions such as vocabulary and even reading music note often are lateralized to the left hemisphere of the brain
Man, how come all the versions I hear on here are always way different from mine? The melody is the same but the left hand of my version is all 16th note chords that i can hardly keep up with. =\
just go to the site if the link don't work. i copied and pasted this and now i have the sheet music(i luv this person, i tried lookin everywere) and....i also got some others lol XDDD!
I'm not sure... it must had been a couple of months, but it really depends on how much you're willing to commit with practicing.
It's lvl 3 on a begginner scale. That means it still is a simple arrengement. I think a complete begginner working only on this piece should be able to play it after a week or two.

you must be some special german to know that 'all Americans or english speaking people don't know how to play!'
does that mean all you germans can't spell? and can't come up with some tactful constructive opinion? Thanks for posting piano player! enjoyable.

America's economy is really bad right now, so many people can't afford to buy a grand piano or a simple piano because even that costs $1,000

Totally. It would have been a lot better to buy a piano back in the '90s like I did.
