Venitas is Ventus' nobody, when sora was given his heart he soon took some appereances of Ventus, However, when Roxas was made, because it's sora's nobody, he looks like Ventus because in reality, it's Ventus inside of Sora, which is why sora can wield the keyblade. This is a bit of a theory I made. Ven and Van are both the same person. Since Van is the darkness....does that make him a heartless? And Ventus a nobody? They called him an empty shell with no life and throughout the whole story, he seemed super emo-like a nobody. Maybe the first nobody if you think of it. And then when sora completed Ventus's heart in the beginning, he became the form of sora's nobody. Every nobody has an exact cloned look as the original person. Sora cannot be an exception.

@Queen4of4Hearts Those aren't his exact words but it was pointed out to me that sora does say the exact same thing in KH1 and it is translated as "My friends are my power" in the official dub so I translated that way here too :)
@jemg15 lol yeah I know...Actually, I originally translated it along those lines. However, someone pointed out to me that Sora said the same thing in KH1 (in Japanese). The official English dub translated the line as "My friends are my power". It's not an exact translation, but I thought it would be appropriate translate it this way so players of the dub could see the connection between this scene and the one in KH1 :)

Let me see if I understand what Ven did here. Their X-blade was a manifestation of their combined heart, so destroying it meant destroying not only the darkness that was Vanitas, but also his own part that was light. Ven's body is the way it is now because he essentially became a prince of heart and cannot have a Heartless/Nobody because he broke his own heart, it was never stolen or overcome by darkness. So Ven is now KH's sleeping beauty xD
he doesn't has a heartless, because his heart is inside terra(heartless doesn't mean no heart, it just mean the heart fell into the darkness), for a nobody, maybe he has one... but did Kairi got one when her heart went into sora? if not, then no, since this might be a special condition, no heartless then no nobody
@liambuurns no. when ven merged with sora, some of ven's "traits" passed onto sora, like wielding the keyblade. the same happened to the quote. so technically, that was originally ven's quote.

It WAS Sora's body (during the time when Roxas was running around Sora was basically a "walking, talking heart" as confirmed by Nomura, the creator). But yes, it has now been confirmed that Roxas has Ven's heart. That's why he looks like Ven. Hearts do have an influence on appearance clearly. Sora-Ven-Roxas-Vanitas are a perfect example. Same goes for Terra-Xehanort. The hearts influence the appearance a lot. Since Roxas had Ven's heart, he looked identical to Ven.
alright...so roxas has Ven's heart....but Roxas merged with Sora again...thus....bringing Ven's heart back to Sora...again?....that would make sense...somewhat...then there is just one thing that leaves me confused...vanitas and sora look alike...but Ven and Sora connected their hearts AFTER Ven's heart got incompleted...so...Vanitas cannot have had any influence as to how Sora looks....so that's just coincidence?
@dailyangel Since Sora filled the gap in Ven's heart where Vanitas once resided, it influenced Vanitas and his appearance changed to resemble Sora. So, Sora had an influence on how Vanitas looked, rather then the reverse.

Roxas is Roxas and Ven is Ven BUT there is a connection between the two.
Roxas looks like Ven because when Sora became a heartless, Ven's heart of pure light migrated to Sora's body A.K.A Roxas, this caused Roxas to look like Ven and gave Roxas emotion. BUT Roxas is still his own person, he has his own conciousness. Ven's heart just resided in him is all, just like Kairi's heart resided in Sora.

When Ventus says "Our connected hearts are my power!", are you sure it isn't "My friends are my power!", because that's what Sora said in KH1, and Nomura seems to have a thing for repeating old phrases in this game (such as Xehanort's "darkness is the heart's true essence" speech).
Ok, so literally, Ventus IS saying "Our connected hearts are my power". However, I checked the Japanese version of KH1 and noticed that Sora says the same thing and it was translated as "My friends are my power" in the official English dub. That being the case, my translation is not wrong, but I like to keep my subs close to the original dub so I have changed it. Thanks :)

Ven is not related to Roxas in any way possible, except for Data. It's that simple. The only reason Roxas was represented alike Ventus was because Ventus' heart merged with Sora's. That's all there is.
Roxas is Sora's Nobody. There's no such thing as a Nobody's "somebody". That's the correct order bro.
And Xion isn't just a Puppet per se. She was created as a back-up plan for the Organisation in case Roxas or Sora couldn't fulfil their intended plans. She WAS based off of Sora's memories, but she appears in many forms, relating as to whom the viewers have connections with. In Riku, Mickey and Axel's case, they view Xion, and later, Sora. Xigbar for one, sees Ventus. The rest see a hooded girl.
That would make no sense. Sora's memories are his, and his alone. She was based from his strongest childhood memories, which is Kairi. This has been officially confirmed a long time ago as the reason as to why she appears to look like Kairi, and was even mistaken for Kairi's Nobody before the game came out in Europe and America, by stupid fans.
If she died, being Sora's memories, then Sora would lose his memories, and he didn't. She didn't just "appear". She was made.

@liambuurns no. when ven merged with sora, some of ven's "traits" passed onto sora, like wielding the keyblade. the same happened to the quote. so technically, that was originally ven's quote.

....Ven's heart merged with Sora...and when Sora turned into a heartless Roxas was created....you guys say it was Sora's body, but Ven's heart used to create Roxas....does it really matter? Since Roxas merges with Sora again...thus...return Ven's heart back to Sora? if it was even like that.......i'm making myself confused now....>.>

It WAS Sora's body (during the time when Roxas was running around Sora was basically a "walking, talking heart" as confirmed by Nomura, the creator). But yes, it has now been confirmed that Roxas has Ven's heart. That's why he looks like Ven. Hearts do have an influence on appearance clearly. Sora-Ven-Roxas-Vanitas are a perfect example. Same goes for Terra-Xehanort. The hearts influence the appearance a lot. Since Roxas had Ven's heart, he looked identical to Ven.

alright...so roxas has Ven's heart....but Roxas merged with Sora again...thus....bringing Ven's heart back to Sora...again?....that would make sense...somewhat...then there is just one thing that leaves me confused...vanitas and sora look alike...but Ven and Sora connected their hearts AFTER Ven's heart got incompleted...so...Vanitas cannot have had any influence as to how Sora looks....so that's just coincidence?

@dailyangel Since Sora filled the gap in Ven's heart where Vanitas once resided, it influenced Vanitas and his appearance changed to resemble Sora. So, Sora had an influence on how Vanitas looked, rather then the reverse.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY crap!!! When ven destroyed the x-blade, he destroyed his heart... but not his BODY or MIND!!!!! What has a BODY and MIND but no HEART?????? When Ven went into Sora he left his memories in ROXAS and then the Terra part of Xemnas extracted memories from VEN instead of ROXAS or SORA to make XION who is actually based on AQUA instead of KAIRI which is why ROXAS sees her as more like AQUA then KAIRI!!! (cause she totally looks more like Aqua than Kairi) and thats y she looked like

Roxas is Roxas and Ven is Ven BUT there is a connection between the two.
Roxas looks like Ven because when Sora became a heartless, Ven's heart of pure light migrated to Sora's body A.K.A Roxas, this caused Roxas to look like Ven and gave Roxas emotion. BUT Roxas is still his own person, he has his own conciousness. Ven's heart just resided in him is all, just like Kairi's heart resided in Sora.

If you mean to say Roxas being Ven, you are, indeed wrong.
Roxas is like Sora in appearence only because he got connected to little Sora's heart. They cannot, by any means, be the same person, whatsoever, through any kind of logic possible or known to man. XD
As far as Naminé, what don't you know about her already? If you played all the games, and listened, then you should know already.

Um, just a small question. When Ventus says "Our connected hearts are my power!", are you sure it isn't "My friends are my power!", because that's what Sora said in KH1, and Nomura seems to have a thing for repeating old phrases in this game (such as Xehanort's "darkness is the heart's true essence" speech).
Could you check that translation?

Ok, so literally, Ventus IS saying "Our connected hearts are my power". However, I checked the Japanese version of KH1 and noticed that Sora says the same thing and it was translated as "My friends are my power" in the official English dub. That being the case, my translation is not wrong, but I like to keep my subs close to the original dub so I have changed it. Thanks :)

Ven is not related to Roxas in any way possible, except for Data. It's that simple. The only reason Roxas was represented alike Ventus was because Ventus' heart merged with Sora's. That's all there is.

Roxas is Sora's Nobody. There's no such thing as a Nobody's "somebody". That's the correct order bro.
And Xion isn't just a Puppet per se. She was created as a back-up plan for the Organisation in case Roxas or Sora couldn't fulfil their intended plans. She WAS based off of Sora's memories, but she appears in many forms, relating as to whom the viewers have connections with. In Riku, Mickey and Axel's case, they view Xion, and later, Sora. Xigbar for one, sees Ventus. The rest see a hooded girl.

That would make no sense. Sora's memories are his, and his alone. She was based from his strongest childhood memories, which is Kairi. This has been officially confirmed a long time ago as the reason as to why she appears to look like Kairi, and was even mistaken for Kairi's Nobody before the game came out in Europe and America, by stupid fans.
If she died, being Sora's memories, then Sora would lose his memories, and he didn't. She didn't just "appear". She was made.

Okay, well first off, no. Roxas doesn't merge with Sora at the beggining of Kingdom Hearts II, he merges with him nearly by the end, way after you've already seen Sora dual-wielding.
Also, even if Sora "merged" with Donald or Goofy, none of them are Keyblade wielders, so that still disproves that Xion being merged with Roxas has anything to do with the fact that he can Dual-Wield.

Alright, Ven IS Roxas. Ven was sealed inside lil Soras heart and in kh1 when
Soras heart was unlocked it also unlocked Ven's thats why Roxas looks like Ven because they are the same person. And because Ven wasnt a nobody thats why Roxas could feel unlike other nobodys and when a nobody is created they have no memory so thats why Roxas doesnt remember he is Ven any more questions?

They're not the same person, don't share the same memories, nor basis, nor information. All they share is data, that's all.
Don't go 'round telling people Roxas was Ven, because that is not true, and has been confirmed months ago by Nomura himself.

Nah, I merely switched around Terra & Ventus; I'm indeed still saving Aqua for last.
Initially, I had always intended to go with an order of Ventus > Aqua > Terra (even after reading about Nomura's statement) -- but then I learned about the 'you-know-what' (relating to Aqua), and, well... things changed. =P

Ven fused with Sora, and therefore that's why Roxas looks so much like Ven and also Roxas has obvious feelings that nobody's shouldn't.
If you take away Sora's heart like what happened in kh1, you're left with a "Nobody" that still has a heart; Ven's.
