You should really take the political and social atmosphere into consideration when you look at the things Muhammad Ali said and did. Most black people at the time who were fighting those injustices were of a similar mindset. At Ali's age, I honestly believe he is a national treasure who has seen and been a part of the biggest cultural and sporting events ever.
