@SeizeTheDay667 Hey man, if you already know the basics about screaming : To get a more matt heafy kind of tone, you need to look at the exact way he shapes his mouth while screaming. This is pretty much ALL that defines the tone you'll get. If you dont know how to scream, then you have a long way ahead and should go step by step. Best of luck!

Almost as uncanny, in fact, as his ability to pull off polyphonic vocal harmonies all by himself. Which is good, because none of Metallica's bassists could ever do backing vocals. Strange.

Listen to the old lives (live shit Seattle 1989 for example) and notice that the differen still was less important than it is for trivium (to me at least), and more than that it even sound more powerful than in the record ! Trivium is a good band, Metallica is legend
