#1 fighter is a GP 2004 Champion (Crocop took part in that and lost to Randleman, who then got destroyed by Fedor Emelianenko)
Fedor did not participate in 200 GP because he had surgery on his hand.
Crocop refused to face Fedor at NYE 2006 because of a foot injury.
Fedor defeated Crocop last year by unanimous decision.
GP is a BIG deal, Crocop is #2 in the world, or #3 after Nogueira, but no lower.

Wow, people give McDonald too much credit. I seen him lose fights. I really did a number on Crocrop though and he is good but I seen McDonald get knocked out by a kick less than a minute in a fight before and seen him lose to smaller people than Crocrop.

Hey dude, they all drop eventually. Nobody is unbeatable. McDonald lost plenty of fights. Bonjasky took him out before & Mirko (Crocop) used Bonjasky as a punchbag where the fight had to be stopped. It's about who wants it more on the day & a little bit of luck helps too ;)

Fighters who have racial names usually come from countries where they are the minority, like for instance Francois "The White Buffalo" Botha. Mcdonald is from Canada competing in a sport where he is a minority. I don't mind such names as long as they are not deragatory (like the Japanese calling Kevin Randleman "the REAL Donkey Kong). And I don't care to see Blacks dominate MMA as they have Boxing, I like diversity. Enough Blacks excel at the sport that they are hardly scarce.

That was the cockiest Mirko to ever enter the K-1 ring, especially coming off of a decision win just three months earlier over the great Peter Aerts, and this fight was where he was humbled. McDonald is a great kickboxer and Cro Cop took him WAY too lightly, and he paid for it with that huge right hand from the clinch.

A few takedowns? crocop ran away the entire fight, sometimes even turning away from Fedor, so he could run faster (all standing up) Fedor landed another one of his 17 hits combos on crocop's mid-section towards the end (all standing up), crocop had nothing, he broke Fedor's nose, but Fedor couldn't care less.

Fedor is a World Combat Sambo Champion in 2005, as well as many times before. Combat Sambo is low kicks, high punches, mid-section punches as well as submissions, take-downs and many throws. (you probably thought combat sambo was like regular sambo)

To call Fedor's punches sloppy suggests that you haven't seen many fights, after all it is crocop that gets caught by Randelmann, Hunt, Silva, Hoost etc. who often knock his teeth out with one punch, while Fedor is alert and just a lot better at striking than mirco.
