They really need to release all the Unreal soundtracks on CD... Unreal, Unreal 2, all the Tournaments and Championships... Its a crime that they haven't. Unreal easily is some of the best video game music there is.

I think that Mechanism Eight written by Necros must be used in UT2004 map by any mapper.You will see what is the "cool" music.

all u r talkin about how the graphics r getting too good... maybe somebody could make a cleaner mod for ut3 that looks like this but more polycounts, give it like a cartoony look that this has... would be beast i think

But the rest is getting too bad, gameplay, atmosphere, fun, music, gamemodes ... the ut3 singleplayer sucks hard and i dont get why they left out all the great ut gamemodes, domination, assault and replaced them with vctf (god i hate that mode) and onslaught instead of just adding those 2 ... ut99 was so great because it was not like other shooters, it was just sports and so it was just fun, great music and awesome new gamemodes ...

It sounded like killing floor in the beginning! XD Well killing floor was built off the engine so ya, THIS GAME IS AWESOME! THE SERIES IS AWESOME! I love the characters in the series, I thought bought a world of unreal and how itd work out in ways, and ways not tho XD......Gen Mo Kai are the best XD Theyre awesome

2004 doesn't quite have the edge to it like UT99, but still damn good.

I tried to play UT99 a week ago after rampaging the arenas of 2004 for a long time, and man...I sucked sweaty goose ass. It's not easy going back...not for me anyway. Everything moves slower.

What? They're actually a little long, just compare them to RE4's soundtrack.

RE4 has a dynamic soundtrack, really can't compare it a static soundtrack.

2 minutes is fine if you're doing a quick death match, but short loops are annoying in modes like invasion and onslaught which can last 30 minutes to a hour.

And before anyone responds, yes I'm aware of both the built-in music player and Winamp w/global hotkeys. You lose the mood that the music sets when you play random tracks. That's I've made mixes of several songs to replace all the UT2004 ogg files .:)

I hate demo servers too, since they're full of exploits and cheating. Honestly Epic should have shut them down via the master server years ago. Anyway, I still play regularly (mainly INV and occasionally ONS) and I have no trouble finding normal servers. :)
