  • Which production is this? I'm digging on it.

  • Damn, this man is great!

  • wow! great! where was that???

  • Is it just me, or does he sound like he goes sharp a lot? I've heard him do a lot on here, and it seems like, especially on some of the longer notes, he seems to ride above the pitch.

Regardless, a huge, amazing voice and presence on stage.

  • @clarksc1988 Yeah, he does sharp a lot.

  • he said to me: 'I like to be bad!' :D

  • I heard him as Hagen yesterday in Budapest. :)

  • Great Hagen, I heard him in Vienna in December, last year. Great performance!!!

  • PODEROSO

  • And you two sons-of-bitches dry up the curtain and the concertina for tonight or you are fired!

  • My holy Wotan! What is that THING on poor Brünnhilde?! The other costumes look good, but that... O_o

  • A wonderful Hagen. He has everything - voice, appearance, talent. I'll see him as Gurnemanz this summer, but I'd like better to stalk in for Götter. :D

Dezember 2008

  • Hallo, Herr Weinzierl! Sehr klug, was Sie uns da sagen.

Dezember 2008

  • He sounds great and he's chewin' up the stage! What more can you ask? Halfvarson rules!

  • I sung at the bavarian state opera!!

maybe you like this pressed voice

but then you understand nothing about voices in my opinion!

  • Yes I do like the edge on the voice. And do understand the differences in voices. This is again taste. The edge in this setting is dramatic and effective. To say "very bad" is flipant. Are you a Professional opera singer, singing leading roles? Can I see your recordings? I rebell against those that have no real knowledge of what it takes to sing at this level and are so quick to criticize.

  • very bad

listen to frick, böhme, weber, greindl or salminen!!!!

  • I can agree that there are other "recordings", and each has there character, but to say "very bad"? Qualify why it is very bad? Sometimes it is our personal taste in the sound we like. I rebel against the notion of very bad! Where have you sung?

  • best Hagen I ever seen

(Not that I've seen many; but still... :)
