I used the .97 plastic table cloths from Walmart in white, blue, and orange to make these pom poms for my daughter. They turned out awesome! I used one table cloth of each color to make a full set of pom poms. I used zebra duct tape for the handle. SUPER cute! Thanks for the awesome video!

I made a Cheerios costume from the show Glee for halloween and needed pom poms. I couldn't find red trash bags, but thanks to the guy at lows I found red flag tape, which is about the same! They worked great! Pictures will be up on my tumblr - Walkinonsunshineee.tumblr.com. THANKS!

Our colors are red and black. I ordered each of us a set of red poms, but I also wanted to do the alternating pom look, one red and one black. We were on a tight budget so I used your video to make each girl thier black pom. they looked awesome!!!!

@92rosedarling yes it works good! I still have these, they have been trough two moves packed away in boxes. They get flat on the side they rest on or if you put them in your cheer bag but all you have to do is shake them out and ruffle them up with your hand real quick and they come back to life!

@samulis1 nooo.. 20 trash bags make a set. When you lay out your trashbags and cut them in half, each half is a pom pom.

You can use plastic table covers too. They are inexpensive and work just as well and there are many colors to choose from.

Wow! Love your video on how to make cheer pom poms. I heard u can use metallic wrap for different colors. If u can't find different colored trash bags in stores. I'm going to make some myself. I'm also learning how to make different kinds of cheer bows. I think it's really fun learning new things. I like your dog lol. Even though I only saw parts of the dog. And again great video!

@jellygotshot i have not come across colored trash bags yet that are affordable! i know there are rainbow colored trashbags on the web but the range from $50-$100 and that is WAY too expensive for me! I'll keep looking and or try to come up with a concept for colors!

@PaigeChat The black trashbags i used were a little thicker than the white ones and they were a little tricky to cut. But with super sharp scissors it makes it a little easier!
