They're changing the characters because series two ends with them all going to university, and they're not going to follow them through uni. I think they said something about swapping the characters every two years/seasons. Not 100% sure.

Do you want a skins where the main group arent together? plus you would get confused with all the extra characters coming into the equation, its aimed at college students, if you carry on with the characters, then the college students can no longer relate, fact. end of.
