  • @nbglass correctisimo

  • @24712Brand yes, i am russian. yes i do sambo. for 4 years now.

  • Where was that "Perfect throw"?

  • @Ragekoolaid according to international judo competition rules a perfect throw is defined as ippon. A throw ending with an opponent largely on his back, demonstrating full control, having such amplitude that the feet of the player receiving the action leave the mat; the back does not necessarily have to touch, it is the exposure that is considered by the referees. Landing in a bridge will score ippon, even though there was no direct contact of the shoulder blades with the mat.

  • @gpensky k

  • good job, kid!!

  • JA FALEI E JIUJITSU NA VEIAAAAAAA

  • This is just two judo kids, now the guy in blue may do sambo as well, but he this is obviously a judo fight under judo rules. It was a nice throw

  • @BroomeBlocker4 it was under judo rules but the kid in blue and i both train in sambo. our trainer is ex speztnas so he would know how to do it.

  • this was not a sambo vs judo match , it was just a judo match.

  • nice Ipon ... didnt see any sambo though ... that was a judo match

  • Nice throw

  • and where is sambo?????

  • @Cema1986

    Ohhhhhhhh... you people...

This is judo mach but boy in blue is sambist - which mean he can compete in judo, but reverse isn't valid...

  • @ticosexy22

sambo DOES NOT= judo. sambo was developed as a martial art for the russian spetznaz during ww2. it was based on judo but they definitely not the same. sambo is more violent and less restricted in the creativity of your moves. judo on the other hand is more restricted. in competition you can no longer grab for the leg, do arm bars and leg locks. its just basic throws. the only way you can get away from those rules is if you want to get disqualified or if you are (18+ years old)

  • @gpensky LOL, No arm bars?, seriously, get out of that cave boy, leg locks were prohibited because too many people were getting injured, and legs heal slower than arms, in the other hand judo dojos teach you how to to them but not to apply them in competition, so basically sambo is judo with emphasis in leg locks and of course strikes

  • @gpensky The most sad thing about sambo's development is the fact, it was "practiced" on russian people in gulags during the 30's. Nevertheless, it's a great martial art.

  • @gpensky

it doesnt go by just age, in judo the moves u can do is based on your belt as well.

  • @gpensky

    russian or soviet?

    stop being ignorat little bitch!

  • @gpensky alot of the technique and move is still base off of judo though...

  • @gpensky actually your aloud to do armbars, leg locks are no longer permitted in competition but we still learn them.

  • @gpensky Sambo is developed from Judo and when you say Judo is restrictive you are wrong. The Olympic Judo rules are restrictive. The martial art is beautiful. All the throws, takedowns and leg locks that you find in Sambo (at least most of them) are found in Judo as well. Not to mention that Kano's judo also had atemi-waza which is comprised of strikes meant to prepare a takedown. As a training method tho I have to agree Sambo is more complete (but only due to the rules in the sport of Judo).

  • @retardno002 i apologize if i said anything incorrect or degrading about judo but i honestly dont care as much as 90% of the people commenting on this video. i am simply a 14 year old fighter who does sambo.

  • @gpensky U can still do arm bars in Judo from 15 I think and the grabbing the legs thing only applies when attempting a throw. It's the IOC that put these rulings into Judo, expect that to happen to other things like Sambo and BJJ if they were to get in the Olympics. Theres different variations of Sambo, sport Sambo is a lot like Judo but with no chokes but leg locks allowed. Combat Sambo is a different thing a bit like MMA, gi grappling with punches.

  • @gpensky you need to do some more research pal better yet do some training

  • @terrorstatenz i am trained. i have 4 years of sambo and mma experience

  • @gpensky actualy smart guy u can do armbars in judo .... i know cause i actually study the art... sambo is a mixture of western kickboxing and judo so it is similar

  • @Spetsnazish1 u can do armbars but the current rules for fighters under 16 restrict armbars and leg locks

  • @gpensky "you can no longer do arms bars or leg locks in competition at a young age" while i agree that true. however we still practice these techniques in practice. i mean judo was a martial art before it was a sport and its still practiced like a martial art. besides if im right sambo has to abide by simmilar rules for people under the age of 13 am i right?

  • @TheWrestlingJudoka very right. for once a positive comment.

  • @gpensky Sambo is based on Judo !!

  • @MMACyborg I KNOW!!

  • @gpensky Judo and Wrestling

  • @gpensky Actually, there is a rule where if there is a high grip on the Uke's right side (With right-handed judo style,) you can pick the leg.

    :)

  • @gpensky remember what is done in competition and what is taught in the dojo are 2 different things we still do leg locks ,neck cranks ,knee bars and ankle picks> arm bars are only restricted in some cases in novice Div and in under 16 yrs Div advanced Div allows arm bars & chokes , legs grabs where taken out by the Olympic committee to separate Judo from wrestling but by no means make the mistake that Judoka's don't practice Kansetsu Waza

  • @glock70 i know.

  • @ticosexy22

Before you say something that elementary stupid search the web...

I didn't said that your are stupid only that you are lazy or so...

Берегите самбо - зто лучший вид единоборства в мире! :)

  • @YMthefirst наконецто ктото понял!!!

  • @ticosexy22 .....wow......just wow...

  • @ticosexy22 Fuck yuo

  • @ticosexy22 no it doesnt numb nutes. judo is completley different

  • @ticosexy22 not really dude. fail on your part.

  • sambo has a lot of illegal stuff from judo

  • Perfect throw? Was this SAMBO rules (total victory)? Is that one of Andre P's kids?

  • @mthai66 are team is andres. the kid in blue is not his son but hes a member of our team. also, in sambo a total victory is if the thrown person is thrown on his back. his perfect throw was by judo rules.

  • @mossessian LOL I didn't mean to ask if he was Andre's actual child, just was he one of the boys on the team. My son trained with your team once.

  • @mthai66 thats cool. how long ago? maybe i knew him?

  • @gpensky At the Arlington location in 2009 I think. His name is Ben. He mostly kickboxed back then

  • @mossessian aka ippon

  • @mthai66 quite sure this was a judo match, due to "ippon" and ""hajime" and "matte"

  • why do you people never feel the need to tell us who is who in these little versus matches?

  • @Obsidian1392

Because you have to wacth carefully and you will find answer.

In our country there is proverb: "Kad odrasteš kašće ti se samo", which means you'll find out when you grow up.

I don't want to offend you but be more curious...

    Cheers :)

  • @Obsidian1392 because i have no intention of revealing peoples names

  • @gpensky no i mean saying which is judo and which is sambo

  • I'm guessing the kid in the blue is the sambo guy. Sambo does one thing right with their throws... they keep the opponent under control. Judokas are starting to get sloppy w/ their throws.

  • he should have a purple belt on, but he has a white... for some reason

  • @15DKulinich i know dude. i know

  • Which one is sambo player?

  • the guy in the blue. the other is the junior judo champ of usa.

  • @gpensky Really? Whats his name? Perhaps I can look this up.

  • @gpensky this guy jumps a lot for a champ ... just saying

  • @gpensky and a champion in usa is a white belt?

  • @gpensky that year, the national junior judo competition mustve been really bad

  • @gpensky You might wanna put that in your title: Sambo (blue) vs Judo (white)

  • what's the main difference between sambo and judo other than the fact that they originated from different countries?

  • what it really is is judo. we learn sambo too but that is combat sambo. when we fight judo different rules apply. if this was sambo we would be breaking bones and fracturing ribs and really getting hurt. but since we fight judo we have to learn some sambo/judo moves. in america its pretty retarded this system but thats how it goes. sambo also has different techiques (if its real)

  • @125riptide Sambo has wrestling elements and instead of gi they wear a kurtka jacket, shorts and wrestling shoes. Sambo is known for it's legs locks and depend on which style you practice, chokes are prohibited in competition.Judo focuses on throws and often neglects leglocks. Again this depends on who teaching and what style you do.

  • actually in competition choking is aloud from 13 and up and leg locks and arm bars are 15 and up.

  • @gpensky leg locks are not allowe din competition judo and most Judo dojos practice equal amounts of throws and newaza.

  • lol i didnt think i would throw him.......

it looked better from other angle

  • like the worst speaker ever that sensai was....

but that kids pretty goooddd !

  • the "sensei" is just some old lady volunteer ref.
