By the way, "Out in left field' original origins come from the days when the Babe played in right, and anyone (especially kids who he was popular with) who bought a ticket to left would be just "out of it", or "out of touch" with the action. Us young folks who are not willing to settle for the status quo, and still believe in freedom, peace, prosperity and the constitution, feel that people who have settled are the ones out in left.
