Are you using AT&T Uverse internet? If so, get rid of it...it goes down all the time in this area (I'm in southern California) and could be down for an hour or more each time. I would recommend Cox Cable or whichever other cable service available to you if this is the case.

i'd advise against using the flip too excessively. the audio quality is way worse than your vixia, and switching back and forth will create a bit of awkwardness.

If you look at the comments on Dan's vlogs from two years ago (2009) and compare them with the comments now, you'll see how much Dan Brown has changed...and downgraded. The comment section USED TO be all praise- That Dan is a genius, a god, brilliant, hilarious, outrageous. Now, it is mostly criticism. This project really has changed Dan and taken a toll on his qualities that made him internet famous in the first place.

More likely the more famous he got, the more fans he got, and as anyone who has lived on the internet for any length of time knows the more people involved in any venture, the more the ratio of jerks to normal people become normalized, eventually settling around 3:1. While Dan has taken a bit of a beating over the course of this project, I wouldn't say that he is the one downgrading. He's taking risks, and doing new things.

@TheImpromptuChef Why does change always go down so badly with you people? It's a massive project, and plus nobody has done it before, so he had no guidelines or expectations. He made friends with Michael Aranda and then lost him, he broke up with Danielle and he moved away from his home to a completely new city. That's more than some of people do in their entire lives, and he did it all in less year, so don't you sit there and whine that it's just not the same, when he did all this for you.

I think this project is really helping him figure stuff out. And look how far he's come! He lives in a house far away from where he used to live (at his parents'), he's making fair living, and he's trying lots of new stuff from the decision engine. I'd say he's doing a fantastic job, and if fans don't like it, then just don't watch. Stop complaining.

@TheImpromptuChef He is the same Dan brown of two years ago, the difference is that, brilliant that he is, he had a very interesting idea in theory that did not pan out so great in practice and now he is most likelly stuck in a contract with all these advertisers and especially revision 3. So now he is fullfiling his end of the contract untill it ends. Its very simple really. Obviously this is my opinion and maybe I am wrong and to Dan's eyes this was a successfull project.
