Hi finsuk, sorry for the mistake at the beginning of the video. The recipe calls for 1/2 cup of sugar not 1/2 a pound. And, you can add as much of brandy and/ or rum as you prefer. The addition of alcohol was more of a serving suggestion, not exact. Also, thanks for the comments canadiancatgreen & AnneGirlCarrots!
Hi in the ingredients secton at the beginning that you need 1/2 pound sugar, then you said in video that you use 1/2 cup of sugar is this the same quantity.. also can I add 1/2 quart of brandy and 1/2 quart of Rum thanks
@finsuk you can I imagine but you can also skip the booze too or maybe add a bit when serving it so all can enjoy whether they want the kind with the booze or without it
