Those lights are alright but... your highschool would probably have some 650w fresnels (*pronounced frenels not fres-nels), which would allow you to use barn doors, they are also focusable (spot-flood) you can unscrew the G-Clamp and attach them to those yellow work light stands (or rig them on a C stand, with a film--> theater adaptor, if you have one)
This young man did an extremely good job explaining this product. I see a media mogul in the making! I am thinking about getting this for my son. Thanks for the great advice.....Pri
The package includes an instruction video, a CD with graphics and a one-month trial of Adobe Premiere Elements. There is software, but you can only use it for one month. At least so you can try out some of the effects! Nevertheless, there are still programs out there that can chroma key your well-lit green screen if you know what you are doing! :-)
@FunniJosh you can get windows movie maker 2.6 if you have windows and download a chroma key effect plug in (look it up on youtube im sure it's there)
Why do you think my opacity is down dude? The graphics are not going through my body at all. No one touches opacity with chroma key. Are you sure you know what opacity is?
Looks like someone really got a cool early Christmas present! :)
Did you figure out what to do with all that stuff between the time you unboxed and your display of the greenscreen/chromakey - did you have to refer to the manual a lot?
I live in a small apt too. What did you have to di with the excess greenscreen since you said you lived in one too?
For setting everything up, i definitely referred to the manual. But as i said in the video, I think I'm getting the hang of it haha
Well for the excess green screen I just let it hang off to the sides, however, i made sure that that was not in the shot, towards the end of the video, you can see the footage that isn't keyed, there is a little clump in the top right corner, but other than that it worked fine!
I prefer fxhome but that doesn't come w the whole lighting stuff

Does what work on a mac? The graphics? They are .avi files, but quicktime, and apple preview can play them just fine!

Is it only graphics? Or is there software?

LTFallenAngelForever 2 years ago
the opacity of your person in front of the green screen might be a bit low.

How do you mean???
LTFallenAngelForever 2 years ago
what editing program are you using?
in your clip settings there should be a slider or something labeled opacity. make sure that it is at 100%.

How much?
Where from?
And how do the lights perform in terms of a natural look. Do they have a fluorescent look to them, or do they give a more natural, un-harsh look?
how many watts are the lights and how big is the stand?
cheers
