Frieza probably was the best Villian in DBZ, but I still say Cell has the best theme. Frieza's is too peaceful for the tyrant he was, Cell's was freaking horrifying because underneath his calm regal perfect form, he really was just a monster, and his theme suited that.

I will always think Frieza as a girl. The voice and the look make it hard to say other wise. But even if it was a women, Frieza would still be one of the greatest villains of all time. The original english voice for Frieza is the best. Dragon ball Kai can go suck a massive dick. The graphics suck and the voice. It makes me want to watch the original.

It should have ended after Frieza. He was the cause of everything, Goku living on Earth, Vegeta, Nappa, it all leads back to Frieza, lord of the Universe. With his (epic) defeat, the story should have ended. He doesn't exist in the manga.. AKA the original Dragonball z storyline. That's Why him or any of the movie villains aren't mentioned in DBZ like in flashbacks or anything. Because they technically didn't exist.
Yeah. too many plotholes happened after frieza. Like random androids appearing that were stronger. Having a supreme kai that could one shot him. Having babadis fighters that werre stronger. it all makes no sense when he was feared to be the most powerful. I agree 100%

mmm..... i like frieza, because he has more background story, and unlocked goku's ssj powers, and also tortured all the characters somehow at some point. i also like cell because he is a combination of the z-fighters and unlocked gohan's true hidden potential, and also made use of the z characters that wasnt much of help before(yamacha,tien). but i like buu, because the z-fighters tried sooo many strategies to beat him, and was the only one who ACTUALLY destryoed the earth. tough choice.
Frieza was based on Akira Toriyama's nightmares and fears as a kid. Everyone has memories of being afraid as kid. Those personal memories of Akira Toriyama brings a darkness into Frieza that is unrivaled by anything that was just thought up on a drawing board. That makes Frieza the ultimate Dragonball villian.

Buu and broly I consider the same, both brainless/psycotic tyrants hell bent on destruction of everything. But frieza....frieza with his cold eyes and emotionless face deep in thought. You could feel how intelligentley evil he was. Frieza was the biggest threat in dbz because with him there was far more worse things then just getting blown up that he could do to the Z fighters. He was an obvious fan of torture with the z fighters on namek...actually I think he tortued all of them at some point.
It was just getting more and more about fighting and powering up and hardly any room for joking around or just having fun when compared to Dragon Ball.

Yeah Cell was just a copycat with socalled bigger power. Capable of obliterating planets, and bringing the whole galaxy to its end..........big whoop; not like Freeza had never done that with twice the drama.........Took Cell long enough to power up just to put off a lightshow while Freeza meanwhile blew up the whole fucking planet Vegeta with his index finger. He was an asshole, acted to his own accord and loved every second of hearing his opponents writhe in pain as he watched them slowly fall at his feet and die as they beg for life with their final breath.

Not only was Frieza the best DBZ villian, he had the darkest theme out of all the villians of the whole show. Sure, Cell and Buu's themes were cool, but Frieza's theme actually conveyed a sense of dread and despair.

Frieza is unparalleled in being the greatest DBZ Villain of all time.
He has so much history, so much character, so much charisma. The others (Cell, Androids, Raditz etc) all tried so hard to be evil. Frieza was naturally cold and heartless.

hahahaha, but that pink bastard was my favourite charecter in DBZ, he had such a cool backstory especially for an 11 year old since that's how old I was when I saw him. I loved his abilities, and his theme music and also like the way Dragonball Online portrays him as being just one member of a race of majins that come from a separate Universe. So appearently Buu was the only Majin shown in DBZ... (Majin being the name of Buu's race)
