This is going to be "fun" to watch her rise! I keep hitting these YT posts and think, when am I not going to be even more delighted with the talent/gifts which flash like the facets of diamonds as she performs. This is the rebirth of "We can change the world 'music' that started in the 60's. I think Desi can make it happen this time around!! LOL!!! Just Lovin it!

I am going to chime in on this girl. She has excellent technical talent but needs to have her own stage presence. Stop doing what everybody else has done and develop her own style. Whoever runs sound for her needs to give up. Turn the volume up on her mike, mask the bass with a little upper pitch and add some echo. If that doesn't work resort to a vocoder. If she is going to be successful, someone needs to step up and groom her The only difference between her and Orianthi is being focused

Fire - sounds like Jimi Hendrix, from the album - Are You Experienced, 1968 - to me.... and knowing that she loves his music that's probably where she heard this; maybe from the remastering version released in 1997

Yes cus there are SO MANY metal guitarist out there today. I grew up in the 80's, grew up in a family of musicians, this girl rocks. Instead of encouraging something so rare in music nowadays like TALENT you choose to criticize and put down. I'd love for metal and rock to make decent come back and have Desiree as the reigning queen of metal guitar. I find most of the guys who put her down are frustrated male guitarist that never accomplished anything except putting someone who has down.

@woodros We each surpass many of the people who came before us. Desiree has been devouring all of their music and going beyond mastering each piece into making them her own and taking them even further. That's not insane that's profound and sublime. Maybe you just don't get it.

@Unpromoted ive been a musician for most of my life, i think if there was something to get here i would get it, what i don't get is people shamelessly praising someone and making statements that are clearly false such as they are going to surpass jimi hendrix ffs. we may surpass people who come before us but not in influence or how they have affected music.

@Unpromoted im not looking for a fight at all, im just trying to point out that some of the things you've said are really not true at all. yes shes good at a young age but she is hardly one of the best metal guitarists alive today and neither has she surpassed jimi hendrix. i put the 'ffs' because im frustrated by the fact you made the comment about jimi hendrix, im sure anyone with an ounce of sense would agree with me, so i will leave it there.

@woodros You experts can never back up your statements with footage or audio of someone better. She's not the best? Show us someone better? How about some video footage of you playing. It's not just that she plays guitar great it is how she does it, she makes you feel the music. You've been a musician all your life and didn't know that? Maybe that is why Desi is playing with ROCK stars and you are here criticizing her. Keep playing Desiree one day you might sing an autograph for this guys kid.

@woodros You play good but I dont feel anything either, its just short clips, although I like the indian style. I'd pay to see Desiree live and I couldnt get throught one entire video of yours. Watch Desiree's videos with Ted Nudget, Sammy Hagar and the Marshall Tucker Band. All those pros seem to enjoy watching and hearing Desiree play and it sounds from the crowds reaction that they are also entertained. Hook up with Desiree and jam, music is about connecting not just technique.
