I got to open for this band at Lamours in Bklyn, NY Nov of 87, while they were touring in support of this release. Never heard them prior to that, although I heard Chastain's instrumental stuff, and I was blown away by HER.

She is Dio, just the woman's version.

Same kind of voice/range/ and growl,,,,,

I have all the CD's now.

jutta from zed yago,ann from hellion and leather from chastain all sound similar. they are not carbon-copies of each other though. the rhythm section in this early 90s chastain lineup actually played on king diamond's "voodoo" album which is a FANTASTIC record.

They came out about the same time. Leather was in Chastain in 1984 and I've heard some demos before she was in Chastain around 1982 and she sounded the same..just similar influences I suspect.
