  • pretty nice

  • COULD YOU PLEASE, do a video about the process of making your own makeup and what it takes and what goes on in the "lab"

ALSO, can you do maybe like an "intro to makeup artistry video".? I'm really good at makeup and it is one of my passions, but I'm not sure where to necissarily start (like getting a lisence or going to school for example) to becoming a professional makeup artist and a video or pointers would surely help. That would be AMAZING.!! Thanks. ;)

  • Your lashes are so pretty!!! And I love the pigment. It reminds me of club from mac :)

  • Why Do people Hate, she is beautiful!

  • I love the fact that u add a note on the side.. Love the makeup amazing :-)

  • Wow her brows are thin

  • Lovely tips as usual. Well done.

  • ok, the Genuine Treasure paint pot is discontinued... give a dupe for this please. Also glad I got my hands on Tete a tint when I had a chance. I've never used it though

  • dammit ur stunning :)

  • I just wanted to note, not sure if you mentioned it or not but Tete a tint is discontinued, I could be wrong. Samoa silk is similar, and I love that you used Geniune Treasure. GT is my new favorite for creating a subtle smokey eye.

  • I think I'm going to try this tonight. I was looking at some of the pink looks but my top is champagne and black. I think this will go well and I have that pigment.

    Thanks for the great idea.

  • This is really pretty Marlena.

  • yoou are soo pretty :O :))

  • I have pre Christmas bash on this Saturday. This video helped me at right time. I have very sensitive acne prone skin and LAVIS SKIN CARE Cleanser is one of the best products I have ever used.

  • What song is that?

  • @makeupgeektv Which eyelash glue are u using?

  • GORGEOUS

  • can i use my naked palette for this look?

  • @gabvalle80 naked palette doesn't have silver

  • @MyFutureIsChic well it has this kinda silverish color called gunmetal but idk :/ just wondering...

  • @gabvalle80 well i dont think you should use gunmetal for this. It's more of a smokey sliverish teal color than a true silver

  • @MyFutureIsChic thx for the help :D

  • luv this girl!!!

  • OMG IM IN LOVE WITH THIS LOOK!!

  • Gorgeous look!!! Almost dupe for the pigment: The Wet n Wild palette "Comfort zone" has it, similar to MACs "Club" eyeshadow. People in Germany can get Catrice - "C'mon cameleon".

For people in Europe that don't have MAC Fix+: There is a store called Kiko (kikocosmetics com), where you can get a mixing solution for pigments, 50ml, only 3,50€. I really like that stuff.

  • I love this look and have bought most items that you have used to achieve this however the Mac Paint Pot is not available on Amazon and it's $40 with shipping on E-bay and I don't want to pay that much. Can you recommend another product to use in place of the Genuine Treasure? Thanks!

  • Thats not foiling!, gossmakeupartist explains it well

  • This is definitely a GORGEOUS look!!!!

  • Love this look!

  • Gotta go pull out my blue brown pigment! Forgot how gorgeous it is !

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • I love this look. I have tried a few times to put eyeliner on my top water line but it's so sensitive, it just really tickles, so I end up not putting it there, though I'd like to.

  • @CassidyKaulitz i heard of one way to get water on your top waterline is to put eyeliner on your lower waterline, then squeeze your eyes shut really tight and it will transfer. i've tried it a few times and it works pretty well :]

  • this is gorgeous. can't wait to try! this would also be nice for the holidays... an emerald green smokey eye would be perfect !! thanks so much for the inspiration <3

  • it was out of focus for like half the video...now my eyes hurt :/

  • tete a tint is pronounced something like "tayt a tint"

  • i love the tutorial but the glitter from the paint pot ruins it

  • Very nice, but I think I would like the look better if you used like a gray color on the crease.

  • OMG.... I have those same ear rings......

  • Beautiful!

  • AWESOME AS ALWAYS

  • The quality of this video, and especially the editing, is wonderful!

  • The Wet n Wild "Spoiled Brat" mini pallet has a silver that works amazingly well with this technique. I do it all the time. I'm the "weird" mom.

  • I love watching all your videos but I ALWAYS have a hard time on the site, I always get a pop up message stating that internet explorer has stopped working, and this is always only on your site, any idea on why that may be or how to fix it?

  • @SuperSusantos Try using Firefox. I never heve any trouble with it. :)

  • @lilseena Thanks honey! I have since switched to google chrome and its made all the difference! I really had no idea about either one so thanks for letting me in on firefox =)

  • @SuperSusantos You should switch from IE to Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome or Opera. Internet Explorer has a lot of problems...

  • @Sohoti THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE SUGGESTION! I have since switched and it made all the difference =)

  • You're welcome

  • Marlena this is GORGEOUS!! LOVE IT!! Quick question, is the fix and spray the same as the MAC mixing medium?

  • @mnvofvan the Fix+ spray isn't the same as the mixing medium. The mixing medium is solely designed to let you mix colours, pigments, etc. The Fix+ is meant to fix your makeup better once you've done your whole face (it's also got a lot of good ingredients that moisturise and soothe the skin). Personally, I ALWAYS use the Fix+ to foil pigments because I find it helps them last longer than the mixing medium does! But I guess it's a personal choice :)

  • @mnvofvan its actually called fix(plus) spray. but its not exactly the same as mixing medium. it has a lot of uses but the most common i would say are to apply shadows wet or to refresh your face makeup throughout the day to make it look less cakey

  • @mnvofvan Nope. fix and spray is more of a spray used to refresh your face or to make it less cakey when you accidentally powder too much, it does not make your makeup last longer and its basically water when used with pigments. Mixing medium is designed especially for pigments and helps it stick better and give it a thicker (if you want) texture

  • @mnvofvan it's called "Fix plus", not "Fix and".

  • @sherayapapaya who cares
