Oh man I just found these guys and i really like their music. Then i started freaking when I kept seein "R.I.P. Exploding hearts" . Just read about what happened to three of the band members and it's really a shame too. These guys remind me of Generation X. The punk's motto of "Live Fast Die young" is more of a curse in my opinion. R.I.P. Exploding Hearts.
@TreCoolRockzXD it's believed that the bass player in the van fell asleep while he was driving their tour van home after a show and he fell asleep on the road. the van flipped and the singer and drummer were ejected out of the van and died at the scene. the bass player later died that day in the hospital. fucking shame...
@TreCoolRockzXD i think it's actually really cool that you even know who they are. i read your profile and saw that you're really young dude. most people in the world don't even know that they ever existed. that's an even bigger shame... props to you, keep on learning and searching more music!
@eb0nikz thanx dude!!! and yeah no one even knows what punk is at my skool dude its so stupid everyone listens to jb or lady gaga not alot of people like good music :\
serious luck-out what happened to them, i think just as a random fan the worst bit is that they had ALOT of potential to produce more stuff like this song.
fucking bent the way life can toss you round like that
i don't know, and I don't care. All I care is that this song and band are absolutley AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIP exploding hearts. You guys were SO amazing and will be incredibly missed.
they had to get in a crash and pass away. and all he wrote about was finding someone and liek it says in this song " I just wont cry cause my life going by, ill find someone before the day I die" and he never found that someone, its so sad :(
I remember when I had first moved here to Portland, I use to ride the 62 Murray Hill bus line. I'd see these two kids, and I mean kids, that looked looked they were 12 years old but they had all these cool as fuck pins and everything on. I always remembered that. Then I saw them in their band. Figures. These guys knew their stuff, sorely missed.
To Hockeydude455.Just because you don't someone personally that has died doesn't mean that you can't show some respect for a soul that has passed on.Rest In Peace is not disrespectful.AND, I am sure that many people who have posted here KNOW what its like to lose someone close to them that they love ie:brother, sister,Parent, grandparent, friend etc. So many more things in life to worry about, than someone wishing a lost loved one R.I.P. They were a great band & cool Tribute to them.
to hockey dude yea we might not know how u feel but the same goes with u dunno how we feel this band had a huge impact on alot of peoples lives and their music & lyrics make people feel like they connect we all feel sad for someone who in some way is important to us some people idolize these guys. think about that. sorry for your loss but really the whole world lost out when these fellas died
hey hockey dude we say rip cos we wantem to rest in peace we care whether we know em personally or not they graced us with their music the short time they were here & we are trully apreciative for that& by sayin rip we're trtyin to show some respect. i know how it feels to have someone u luv die and sayin rip is not outta disrespect at all.
they were amazing.so tragic what happened. r.i.p. boys, rock on in heaven, and terry and king keep rockin on earth. they had such and awesome sound. i love the exploding hearts! we need more bands that rock like that. why'd they have to die? its soooo sad, thx for the wonderful tunes. we love ya!
i hate how every body says o rip and shit like that you dont understand jeramy gage ( the drummer) was my cusin and you dont konw what it feels like to lose some one that close so why say rip if you dont konw who they are :(
Ahh, the Exploding Tour Bus. But seriously, the drummer of my band loved these guys and died last Jan. Guess I shouldn't joke about it, but this song reminds me of late night alcohol and drug runs with my friend.
oh man, just think of the great music these guys could've written in the 4 years they've been. they were only starting and may have only gotten better. it tears me up.
loved this band, i still remember where i was when i heard the news. i live in the bay area and was going to go to what would be their last show at bottom of the hill in SF, but couldnt, and figured i would have plenty of other chances... tragic. but i'll always remember these guys, and keep their music alive.
You don't post cd's on YouTube retard. You buy them or download them. Not find them in a video! Plus, you can't post an MP3 without making it into a video format.. I've tried.
They were such a great band! A great mix of punk and power pop, reminds me of Stiv Bators power pop with a bit of the Clash and the Gang of Four.
