The P 38 was a bomber/fighter... rate of climb surpassed the zero and out gunned her. Now as fer dog fighting the pilot could climb fast and dive onto the target with cannon and main guns.... History does repeat itself and if you look at todays development the new JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) is called the F35 Lighting. The P 38 Lightning is the predocessor to this New plane....

I have Vista Premium and the game works fine. Make sure you have a good video card, a good processor, and at least 2 gig of memory. This games takes some power to run well! My old computer had 1 gig ram and a video card that share cpu ram... it didn't work at all. I install a 512mb video card an the game was enjoyable. But my current cpu is 2.1 ghz dual core and a better v ideo card and I run everything at max with 45 fps using fraps to measure, So remember MORE POWER!!! AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!

This is Pacific Fighters, or you an get the full game with expansions called IL-2 Sturmovik, Forgotten Battles. Basically Ubisoft has release several games which all patch into each other to make one final game you can play.
