  • Aan de beweging van het vliegtuig kan ik zien dat je er vrijdag was :P mooie opname!

  • Hy was er aleen vrydag

  • Amazing...The british have an awesome aircraft on there hands :)

  • A comment of praise by an American I see...which is a rare thing on YT these days :)

Yeah the EF is a breath of fresh air to what we have had to make do with i.e the Tornado lol.

This is the 1st time in a while that we (UK, Germany, Italy & Spain) can hold our heads up with pride.

I have seen the F22 capabilities though and that's an awesome aircraft. It's just a shame Obama canx it after 150 or so.

Still...F22 & EF will own the skies for years to come...

  • Yeah I mean it's a ashame that so many people dis it just cause its not the F-22 but really its just as equivalent if not better in some cases better than the raptor. And although secretary gates cut the budget for the F-22 its not as bad as everybody thinks. I mean we have 175 + highly skilled pilots and aircraft as our defense iand is probaly well enough and dont need anymore.

  • Yeah most commenst are comming from fanboys anyway i guess.

Hopefully EF Tranche 3 is 20% better

EF = within visual range dogfights

    F22 = Stealth - shoot then run.

The biggest issue I can see for the F22 is the running costs. I believe it's around $40,000 per hour to maintain (not including fuel).

USA won't do this but if they were to sell it to the UK & Germany then we could assist financially (I'm dreaming there :0).

It's just a shame an aircraft (F22) is being limited due to money.

  • I don't doubt it one bit repairing the skin, landing gear and engines which probally take the most stress out of the entire aircraft. maintenence must be at least $40,000 like you said. And I can almost guarantee the UK and a few other European nations it would be great for NATO and other financial reason. But, I think the U.S. doesn't want to take that risk ( Just in case something does go wrong which I highly doubt cause I mean they're great allies and all)

  • @29Gixxer I agree...sometimes I think Congress is a collective of the biggest idiots of our country....LOL. They always manage to vote for their own pay raises every year...but make stupid decisions like restricting the Raptor to US use only.....jeeez.

  • @amorrison1

hehe yeah the reason why it doesn't make sense in not allowing a few countries like the UK to come onboard is simply because US & UK share nuclear tech together. Example : We buy your SSN nuke reactors and use your Trident missile system. We then ake the warheads for the US/UK missiles. BAE are actually helping with the F15 Silent Eagle project and they would be of great help to you guys...as with the F35 but life sucks I guess...

  • AnotherGreat video, thanks
