Well, mousy Tammy, I had my colored today! Mine was looking really bad. I have dark brown underneath and then usually some blonde highlights. Today she added some copper highlights. I like it. THe only thing, of course is reds fade so fast. My stylist said her daughter has the same copper in her hair and it hasn't really faded that much. Anyway, you are hardly mousy! Makes one wonder what some of the creepos look like. Boo hiss to all those police.

I have the natural "mousy color", and can't find anyone who can color my hair the color that I want, I always get brassy, terrible coloring. Would you mind telling me if you use color all over and highlites? Just to get right to the point, may I ask exactly how you get your color? I started graying in my thirties, and don't want to go gray yet, but someday I will and be proud of it. Great videos.
@TheMamkam I have no highlights...my color is Goldwell...3/4 8N-1/4 8SB...I usually have a clear gloss put on the ends...I have mousy brown hair normal with 85% gray /white hair...hope this helps you

The Argon oils I've tried not only weigh down my hair they also break out my skin if my hair touches my face! Not acceptable and so I pretty much gave up. Think I'll give this a try and see what happens :)

BTW, do you still use the Moroccan Oil or the Enjoy oil? I was at Ulta and passed up the Lanza cuz I have the other 2 bottles, and I do have a tendency to buy too many things and take forever to use something up. @CaliShoegirl Biotin....and yes I have always had long hair except when I turned 14...begged my mom to let me cut it off...she did...i went pixie...and NEVER again...I hated it with a passion...:)) I also take fish oil...keeps hair shiney...but check with your doctor because fish oil can thin blood..don't know if you have any health issues..

I've just tried an oil (argan oil) on my hair for the first time recently. For me, it does the same thing as the coconut oil does on yours; weighs it down too much. I have the same hair texture that you do - fine hair, but loads of it! I SO appreciated this vid -- partly to be made aware of other oil options out there and also b/c this is an outstanding side-by-side demo. I do enjoy L'anza products. Good to know they have an oil. I think my hair is very similar to yours - fine, but a lot of it. I've let mine go all gray though. I want to get some hair oil, but I don't know if I want L'Anza or Orofluido. Hi Ms. Tammy! Love this video. I've been using coconut oil (organic) to remove makeup for ages. And, we cook with it too (different jar of course). I've never used it in my hair but you have me curious to try... My hair is very different from yours - it's gotten much frizzier & no longer holds a curl (just started happening...aging hair? I like the Monoi miracle oil from The Body Shop. It makes my hair silky without weighing it down. And it smells heavenly! But I do have drier hair than you! Also, before some months you mentioned using a lash growing product. Did it do any good?

I'm so glad to know that you go from the top down. Does that have something to do with smoothing the top layer of the hair? I think it's called the cuticle, but I'm not sure. Thanks Tammy for sharing. L'anza sure does a great job for your hair and the coconut oil would be better off when used in masks. Here in Thailand hairdressers love to use coconut oil in hair, to make it shine, but Asian hair is allot thicker. They put coconut crème in curries, but that's a different story. That's for after the hairdressers, when you get hungry.
Wow what a difference. I had a hairdresser years ago that would use multiple brushes on my hair. I used to laugh but it did work as my hair is very curly.
What could you have possibly done to insult someone? I don't understand that at all. The difference was so clear on the products....also good to point out the differences between both oils should you not wash your hair every day, because if the coconut oil weighs it down right after its been dried, can you imagine 2nd day hair with it? YouTube police go away! How ridiculous they are. Very nasty comments. Everyone is different with different hair textures. Rudeness shouldn't be tolerated. You go above & beyond being fair with products. I trust you since I'm seeing what your doing in front of my eyes. Thank you for going beyond for this demonstration. I could see the difference right away when you applied the coconut oil. Thanks Tammy.

OMG, I can't believe someone had the audacity to call that absolutely gorgeous head of hair you have mousy!! Must be a group of green-eyed monsters, that is the only possible explanation!! Well, mousy Tammy, I had my colored today! Mine was looking really bad. I have dark brown underneath and then usually some blonde highlights. Today she added some copper highlights. I like it. THe only thing, of course is reds fade so fast. My stylist said her daughter has the same copper in her hair and it hasn't really faded that much. Anyway, you are hardly mousy! Makes one wonder what some of the creepos look like. Boo hiss to all those police.

You are beautiful. We are the same age, and have about the same color of hair.
I have the natural "mousy color", and can't find anyone who can color my hair the color that I want, I always get brassy, terrible coloring. Would you mind telling me if you use color all over and highlites? Just to get right to the point, may I ask exactly how you get your color? I started graying in my thirties, and don't want to go gray yet, but someday I will and be proud of it. Great videos.

@TheMamkam I have no highlights...my color is Goldwell...3/4 8N-1/4 8SB...I usually have a clear gloss put on the ends...I have mousy brown hair normal with 85% gray /white hair...hope this helps you

The Argon oils I've tried not only weigh down my hair they also break out my skin if my hair touches my face! Not acceptable and so I pretty much gave up. Think I'll give this a try and see what happens :)

BTW, do you still use the Moroccan Oil or the Enjoy oil? I was at Ulta and passed up the Lanza cuz I have the other 2 bottles, and I do have a tendency to buy too many things and take forever to use something up. @CaliShoegirl Biotin....and yes I have always had long hair except when I turned 14...begged my mom to let me cut it off...she did...i went pixie...and NEVER again...I hated it with a passion...:)) I also take fish oil...keeps hair shiney...but check with your doctor because fish oil can thin blood..don't know if you have any health issues..

I've just tried an oil (argan oil) on my hair for the first time recently. For me, it does the same thing as the coconut oil does on yours; weighs it down too much. I have the same hair texture that you do - fine hair, but loads of it! I SO appreciated this vid -- partly to be made aware of other oil options out there and also b/c this is an outstanding side-by-side demo. I do enjoy L'anza products. Good to know they have an oil. Hi Ms. Tammy! Love this video. I've been using coconut oil (organic) to remove makeup for ages. And, we cook with it too (different jar of course). I've never used it in my hair but you have me curious to try... My hair is very different from yours - it's gotten much frizzier & no longer holds a curl (just started happening...aging hair? I like the Monoi miracle oil from The Body Shop. It makes my hair silky without weighing it down. And it smells heavenly! But I do have drier hair than you! Also, before some months you mentioned using a lash growing product. Did it do any good?

I enjoyed this video. Thank you for taking the time to do this comparison. The difference is apparent! I learned that I've been blowing my hair incorrectly. I'm so glad to know that you go from the top down. Does that have something to do with smoothing the top layer of the hair? I think it's called the cuticle, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm glad to know how to use the blow dryer correctly and will do so tomorrow. Thanks, Tammy!

Thanks Tammy for sharing. L'anza sure does a great job for your hair and the coconut oil would be better off when used in masks. Here in Thailand hairdressers love to use coconut oil in hair, to make it shine, but Asian hair is allot thicker. They put coconut crème in curries, but that's a different story. That's for after the hairdressers, when you get hungry.

The difference was so clear on the products....also good to point out the differences between both oils should you not wash your hair every day, because if the coconut oil weighs it down right after its been dried, can you imagine 2nd day hair with it?
