Waking Up Blinded is a very profound idea.If you actually listen to what is conveyed here you will start to get these guys. I know them.I am involved with ProgPowerUSA. Tom is a very profound thinking person and writes songs that are not pop/bubble gum by any means.They are good enough performers to actually make a living if they did.Integrity keeps them a thinking persons band.My channel supports these bands
This is one of the softest evergrey songs that I know of. But everygrey overall isn't a screaming band they may sing a little louder at times but that's just music. It would be boring if u would sing in the same tone all the time. I would recommend the song " the dark I walk you through" I love the lyrics even though they are sad.

how they use the weak and faith to mess with everything. also they sing about child abuse because that is one of the most horrible side effects religion(political) had infected into humanity. the singer says his anger is because its hard to find jesus in a world that misleads his techings and words & thats why he is obsete.
@rangyui thats the problem religion itself is really a man made rules etc.and when gov walks in and gets involved with religion.then its dead.thats why i dont say im christian i am a follower and believer in Christ.Not in mans religion.problem with churches many don t walk in faitha nd trust and hope in the Lord.If one goes out to world and preches without the guidance of the holy spirit.Then its like clanging on a bell.thats annoying.Its time now for the real true ones stand and do Gods work.

As a fellow Christian I'm coming to the same conclusion and am glad to finally see someone who thinks the same. Admitedly I'm fairly new to Evergrey and don't know their lyrics particularly well but hey I'm not at all a fan of extremist Christianity either... I don't think anyone with a level head on their shoulders is.
