I'm pretty sure what the teens are saying is that we need to stop focusing on religion and more on the relationship with God. For example, I go to an independent fundamental baptist church, and they're really bad about things like that. If someone comes to my church with an NIV, jeans and a t-shirt, and says they listen to contemporary Christian music, they're looked down on by some of the people in the church. Sad, but true. However most people there are not like that. :)
Amazing song. What it means in that dialogue is that we become so infatuated with the idea that WE are ABLE to SAVE OTHERS, but only Jesus can save someone, we need to let HIM, do His job, we just share the Gospel, The Lord saves. There is nothing that can counter the truth in His word and this is why as Christians, it's so, so important to know His word. This song's great. Not just the beat or how catchy it is. It's up-front, frank, blunt truth. Not sugar-coated. No run around.
I think, even if I didn't have my beliefs, I'd appreciate this, because it's genuine. This world really doesn't need anything less (or "more") than the kind of love behind the lyrics of this song.

this is an amazing song and it just shows how much God loves us and we need to tell everyone that God is the ONE that people need to follow. i love the lord and would love to share him with everyone in the world. people need to know about God and what he can do for them. God loves every one and is there for you at all times.

Just to comment on what they said about "we should just get out of the way".Sometimes we try to water down our faith and try to hard on our own feeble effort to save the world.I believe that The Holy Spirit is the only one who can save sinners.I also believe that the Holy Spirit dwells inside every Christin. And sometimes we try so hard to do it all on our own, that we dont be quiet and let the Holy Spirit speak through us instead.You can't do it on your own.Stop trying,and let God speak
