This is my true test of anyone who attempts a Dan number. You guys surely pulled it off. The chord changes were all there. Now I must type in "Don't Take Me Alive" and see how good your guitarist really is?

Great band seen them a few times. Its very hard to replicate Don's vocals and for me there is a little too much vibrato in the singers voice but thats only a minor crit of what is a superb band and great night out for a Dan Fan !

Good band, there are others though. Check out Steely Scam. Not the best name, but a great outfit who try hard and get it right.

Dont know where you live colonel, but visit their website and check out the gig list and make the effort to go see them. However good this clip is, it really doesnt do them justice. May cost you £11 or £12 quid but you wont regret it !!

Gonna be at your Edinburgh show in may, can't wait! You seem to be doing a really great job with the Dan material, and i am also excited to see New Frontier on your songlist. Steely Dan are coming to the UK too, so it will be a good summer :).

Only comment was, for Green Flower Street on your website i would kick up the tempo very slightly to give it that immediacy from the record. Just a suggestion, it's still all great!

I have been catching Nearly Dan at their biannual Jazz Cafe shows in London for about the last 7 or 8 years. They are consistently excellent and provide a great night out for fans of the original. Having persuaded a number of hard core fans of the Dan to suspend their disbelief, I have converted at least a dozen friends and family to the cause. Go see them when you can!!!
