I enjoy your playing! I also have Ivory II Grand Pianos and Yamaha CVP-303 piano. I have problms with using it.... Could you please explain how do you connect your keyboard to the computer and how do you configure Ivory II? Do you have any problems with latency when playing Ivory?
Love your playing man! I really dig the mix of Scriabinesque and jazz harmonies. I have a question about the velocity layers - as an obviously accomplished pianist, do you feel that you notice a restriction in dynamic expression with 18 samples? Is it enough - or do you think that you would need something closer to Vienna Imperial's 100+ samples to really feel like you're playing a grand piano?
hey ive already got ivory 1.5 and am considering getting version 2 but will have to pay the full price for it as wouldnt be able to get the upgrade price as a friend lent me the software and i no longer have ilok however the ivory 1.5 ive got still works. Do you think it would be worth me paying the full price for ivory 2 when i have ivory 1.5, how much better is it in terms of the dynamics :-D
Hello i am thinking about to buy a Studiologic Numa like you. The Studiologic Numa NERO has wooden keys (inner of the keys) but is possible thats it puts more weigth and the response could be diferent (in a negative view if you prefer more lighter keys ) i dont know if this is true. Has you tested the Nero model? thanks very much.
i have a digital piano like yours with midi support and also have ivory but everytime i connect it i can't get the sound to come from my piano it comes from the mac and i really wanna hear the sound of the program come from my piano internal speaker,
@shadowjuan2 That's not how it works. The programs can only convert the midi input from your computer to sounds on the mac through its sound card. Just plug some earphones into your mac and listen to yourself play.
I see you have a white iMac there, what spec? What host do you use and how heavy is IvoryII on resources? Can you run it comfortably in conjunction with other VI's?
Oh wow I think I actually heard the soft pedal. Did they implement the soft pedal well or is it just another very mellow filter like many samples out there?
Do you have monitors or a seperate headphone mix? And how? What is your setup, would you mind filling us in?
Beautiful playing.

Superb playing.
It's amazing how we can hear the sympathetic vibrations as some keys are held down.

I know nothing about software piano sounds, but this is very impressive indeed.
What's the polyphony? Could I run this on my rather aged MacBook...OSX 10.4.11?
