Well Sadam didn't allow weapons inspectors to do complete inspections so it seemed like he was hiding WMDs. Sadam just made a bad move while trying to gain support from other arab nations. As for the civillian deaths, yes they happen but it was much worse under Sadam's rule than under the current rule. And I say we go to war to prevet the next Hitler or Stalin from taking power and threatening global peace

Actually, I most recently found out that war is neccesary. It has to do with so called "youth-bulges", a theory from Gunnar Heinsohn.

If there is a nation where there are to many sons/family there will be some kind of violence.

If a family has, lets say, 3 sons, the first will take over his fathers occupation, the second can get a loose job or die before having children. But the third son won't find work: he is surplus. He must die, or kill another to take his place.
