Pretty nice intro. You should add collectable NHL cards to NHL 13, just like in NHL 2002 and NHL 2003. Not cards that you need to play, but that you can collect in binders when earning points or pucks. That was a fun way to play NHL on PlayStation!

Jersey numbers are supposed to be orange, not white. I always thought it would be cool the the starting line ups were announced as the home team hits the ice.

They could have at least added the big bursts of flames that actually happen at a home Oilers game. I believe they used to do this in an older EA NHL game and their old entrance was a lot better.
@oALEXtheGREATo - I admit, it's hard to see any differences from the lowest difficulties...I'm a bit jaded in that regard as the last couple iterations had soft as butter D at any difficulty (I leave my difficulty in one of the top two difficulties and play with sliders for more realistic results).
The game's Be a GM mode seems to be giving notifications via blog. The single improvement I can trust so far is that there is a new simulate function with play by play notes.
Anyone else notice that the teams switched sides? The Flames are on the right side of the rink at 0:38 but the Oilers are now on the right side at 1:40.....

@oALEXtheGREATo - I admit, it's hard to see any differences from the lowest difficulties...I'm a bit jaded in that regard as the last couple iterations had soft as butter D at any difficulty (I leave my difficulty in one of the top two difficulties and play with sliders for more realistic results).
The game's Be a GM mode seems to be giving notifications via blog. The single improvement I can trust so far is that there is a new simulate function with play by play notes.

Anyone else notice that the teams switched sides? The Flames are on the right side of the rink at 0:38 but the Oilers are now on the right side at 1:40.....
