u fucking retard u have 2 switch the switch den pull the lever and the petorl tank will fall down den u wash it clean it den put it back on and it will not work
hey guys thanks for all your help, i forgot all about this video, bike is running fine now, i dno what was wrong with it, i just when to it one day and put the choke on and pressed the ignition button and it fired, i dno what was wrong with it but it runs fine now, once again thanks for all your comments
i have the same bike and mine wouldnt start, tried for ages then eventually gave up, went to it the next day and she went first time, now got same problem again grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
hey danger, i have a 02 ex250....for me there there were some issues with having to jump it, then the bike showed no power at all. I dont know if its the bat or alternator or starter, hope its the bat......familiar
@dangerdan87 Probably a bit of debris in the carburetor that finally loosened up once you tried starting it enough times. Im guessing the bike sat for a short while before this happened? If you think of it, pick up an inline fuel filter and install it between the petcock and the carbs, its a simple install, just cut the fuel line and plug the filter in.
It seemed to kick once or twice, with a touch of choke, then nothing. You really need to start by seeing what you have lost and checking the basics. Where there any symptoms before this problem? When did it occur? Is there spark all the time or intermittently? If you spray some fuel (carby cleaner or even petrol in a spray bottle) through the air cleaner will it fire? Will it start and run on half throttle? Give us some more info mate. Good luck.
i have looked at the spark plugs, ther fine, i have had the tank off and used some 'easy start' was fireing but only once or twice, i had a petrol feed to it so it wasnt lack of petrol, and im just soo confused as to what it could be, but tomorrow i will ring cmc nottingham up were i got the bike from to see what they say about it, i have had it scince late november early december and after a month of owning it i started it once but i tryed to strart it at least once a week scince then,
untill this happend, it started once and i left it on tick over then went away and come back and it wasnt running so oh well it cut out i will start it again and nothing, then i made this vid.....
well the bike is turning over pretty well, and most likely your spark plug is connected and firing (it is right? ; ) ) Perhaps you have bad gas, or forgot to turn the fuel reserve switch back on if you have on of those. Maybe try starting it with the throttle cranked wide open with the choke in different positions. If there is fuel going in there its possible it could flood the engine doing that but im pretty sure that is a procedure that was in teh manual of the last two bikes i owned.
mines having the same problem check mine out I took it to the dealer and have the fix

I know this is a bit old now, but sometimes this is due to oil getting in the airbox.
Bikes don't dump oil on the road, it is sent to the airbox and then is consumed by the engine.
My R1 did this when I overfilled slightly, then ragged it :)
