Thanks for sharing your deep thoughts about Edwin Starr. He was truly one of my favorites..War is the song that I will remember him for...such power and strenght..what a voice....I love the 70's soul songs...and although I was only 8 years old when I first started listening to the Tempts, JBrown, 4 tops..Edwin Starr is a great part of inspiration to me...Iam Roger...my post is rogeralexander7. I enjoy the grain and soul voices...never will it be any better than the great sounds of these artist
I never knew that Edwin Starr could sing so smooth and sweetly. What a pleasant surprise! This is really very nice. Thanks for posting this lovely song.
Hey this was filmed in Liverpool at the Albert dock, think it was at granada studio where This Morning went out live every morning. Sadly missed Edwin ♥
What a great version of the O'Jays Classic - quite a lot smoother (and with sweeter voices) ... and The Ojay's was pretty damn good to begin with! Plus Edwin's "I Am Your Man" version is also great, even though Ryan Shaw does an outstanding job on that record, Edwin made his version very much his own!
Many Thanks for uploading these, they have been added to our shows future Play Lists!

Never heard this song before. Pretty good though. Have all of your videos previously unreleased until now or have they been available?

Some are on the DVD Box Set, "The Strange World Of Northern Soul'. Many others were just raw footage that we're only now editing, after twenty years.
