i use to have flowmasters on my 2000 gt, sounded awesome. found out they dont last long, the mufflers rusted so bad i had to take them off. im thinking about replacing with Mac catback 2.5"/3.5"...should look and sound mean!
Great question. In fact, I'm currently using it as a daily driver- altogether about a sixty day period, then it goes back to "toy car" status.
It actually is very pleasant as a driver. It's fun, fast, and sounds great. They're a very comfortable car, and the mileage is not bad. I've not checked it but it's not as bad as I thought.
Other than the King Kong strength clutch- it's a good daily driver!
@05grandprix Totally agree. Was looking at the 05' and up Stangs and just picked up a 2003 Cobra Convertible last week instead because the newer Stangs sound like every other car now.
i have magnaflows on mine (were there when i bought it) and i debated doing a flowmaster i must admit this sounds a smidge better then the magnaflows, but im gonna do the o/r h first see what i think thanks good vid

Do believe I'm going to go with this on my 03 cobra. I have MAC on my GT, but always wanted flowmaster on that too.

totally agree, it's about time someone agrees that the 2 and 4 valve 4.6's sound way better than the 05 and up 3 valves.

i agree i also like the mufflers in the middle of the car, not all the way in the back, i think it makes a difference
