  • This ducky idea is a brilliant way to explain Doppler Effect - thanks a million!!

  • Not bad at all. You do a good job of explaining it. :)

  • alright.

    not enough clothes.

great video, loved it. I love having science displayed in such ways. oh and the bathroom scene was wonderful too :)

  • You're giving Bill Nye the Science Guy a run for his money.

  • Excellent vid. Very well illustrated, especially the way you showed the Doppler effect with ducky-generated water waves.

But why swimming goggles in a bath tub?! :)

  • Strategically placed bubbles FTW lol. Awesome vid! I actually knew this one for once.

  • u rock!

  • I really enjoyed that and will definitely not look at duckies or taking a bath the same way. :)

  • It's quite amazing that one can actually SEE

the condensed wave in front of the ducky! Nice.

The buzzer was much harder to hear.

    good luck with this series!

  • Awesome. I like the offset ripples the most. For kids I work with I use buses as the wave, because the frequency of a bus everyone understands. You can bike opposite or in the same direction as the buses and observe the doppler effect.

  • Hm, good point. I'll try to do that next time.. for now, I'll just put a link to the old vid in the blogpost I think :)

  • Hahaha... Science and Fun and Bath Tub too! You are great... please make many more.
