Yes, it will cruise all day at 1 mph on the hottest day and will not overheat the engine or the trans.!!!!! Yes it is a rack and pinion steering with a flaming river tilt steering column....

@jsk8drummer IF YOU BUY THE RIGHT RADIO AND FANS THEN IT SHOULDNT OVER HEAT. I HATE TO SEE A PRETTY FAST CAR BUT IT CANT STAND TO BE AN TRAFFIC BECASUE IT OVER HEAT. THAT WHY I IN INVESTED IN A GOOD SET UP SO I DONT HAVE THAT PROBLEM
