Riveting! On my channel under "influence" I typed in your name simply because your videos and CDs have been my source of inspiration and encouragement to continue practicing piano, Mr. Erez. This piece is fabulous!
Talk about shock and awe, I am awe-struck by this video. So crisp, so clear, so IMPECCABLE. Played with such POWER and authority, then on the softer sections, he immediately transitions to soft and beautiful. Such outstanding control over this difficult piece. Your video performances are so superior to everyone else's, Mr. Erez. Again, there is no competition...
Absolutely LOVE it! BRAVO!! This just happens to be my fav Rachmaninoff piece. I played the first page from a YouTube-posted sheet music. It's not that legible so I'll have to buy it. Of course, I don't play it as fast as this. lol But this is MARVELOUSLY done! The original photographs of Rochmaninoff are so historical and nice to see.
@lllllllllllllll88 yes, this version is good. I play that piece of Rach: it's very dificoul to exprime his musical sens. Listen the Horowiz version: wonderfoul! Ciao
Superb. If I had been there, I might never have stopped clapping. The finest part, though you may disagree, was the final seconds. That little finish was remarkable. It closed the work with perfection, mystery, and such tone! Never heard anyone articulate that little last note just right. You did, sir, and I am impressed.
@ERICQUEZADA95 yup, and the complexity of the chords and their formation, followed by a large jump to the next set. Jumping from 8 notes, to another 8 is very difficult, I can only JUST do it.
this piece is amazing. i could tell this was written by a russian :D

Is this your first recording of Rachmaninoff? I've noticed you haven't played him much in the past, do you not like his music as much? ; )

@JohnEBPiano thing about any rachmaninoff piece is the difficulty!
