It is in fact cooling, this is what was predict to happen with increasing green house gasses, green house gasses decrease the rate of heat transfer from the lower atmosphere to the upper increasing the lower temperatures and decreasing the upper atmosphere temperatures.

@Deadkurtrulz There are many reasons for change in global temperatures, identify one does not mean all others don't exist. The earths upper atmosphere is decreasing in temp as the lower atmosphere increases which is consistent with predictions of global warming caused by increasing green house gasses. Changes in earths orbit are cyclic and so can be easily predicted, and so can be ruled out as a cause of the current warming.
