does the appliance scrunch up in the nose area when you scrunch up ur face? or does it do something else? cuz I'm thinking about making something similar for a werewolf costume, and I dont know if it'll scrunch up right when I "growl" or if it'll do something else.
@rememberthecreed It would move, but not scrunch particularly, it doesn't do anything particularly odd though so it would move with your face ok, what I would do is sculpt the scrunch growl lines in so they were in there already and they would then be emphasised when you growl. Hope that makes sense! xx
@luciarockkobe ideally you would use spirit gum remover on a cotton bud and gently peel it off, you can get it off with cleanser if you use a lot of it and carefully peel it off bit by bit x
I love this tutorial :) I was just wondering if you think I would use this same technique to make a cat nose (add cheeks and what not). Do you think it would be too flimsy?
Hi there, my 9 yr old wants to be Nanny Mcphee for halloween and I wanted to try to make a nose. Is this safe for children, and how would I remove it? If you have any suggestions please let me know.....Thank you!
@lmp8866 You could make a nose using liquid latex, or nose putty, either would be safe for children, but I don't know that a 9 year old would be able to put up with it to be honest, it can be uncomfortable, especially if you get an itch x
@M8JHiTs If you get some spirit gum remover it's really easy to remove, just soak a cotton bud in the remover, and rub it around the inside edge of the latex x
@tsunimee The latex goes around the edge of the piece, duo is for around the eyes but does the same job as the latex which is to disguise the blunt edge of the addition, it helps it blend into the skin and it also strenghtens the join so that it won't come unstuck. The powder is to cover the latex which is sticky when dry so doesn't paint well unless powdered. If you had a piece glued on that wasn't near the eyes, just use latex all the way round the join. x
for your large spirit gum with the glued shut lid i had the same problem just last night hold it upside down over your sink and pour a lil spirit gum remover over it let it run into the rim where its glued together wipe it clean and use a clothe to get a grip and twist, it loosens right up you can also use baby oil or any kind of mineral oil should work as well
Great!!!! Loved it!!! I don´t know if it was my sound system or your audio was low but there were parts when I couldn´t hear you so well. But I think we got the point on how to to a fab nose for a lion or tiger. I can´t wait to see your makeup for this!!!!!
@anaarthur81 Thanks honey, the sound is ok when I play it but that's because I listen through my earphones. There is nothing worse than poor sound on a tutorial, I will go through and find the bits you can't hear and put subtitles in annotations. xx
@joannadelilah Yes, when I hear it with earphones It´s a lot better. You can also change the volume in WMM for your next video. I will annotate how to do it and I will send you the info. Check your YT inbox I sent you a link on how to use WMM, hope it helps. xoxoxo
@anaarthur81 Thanks, I saw the message but not had chance to look at it yet, glad I got my ween looks done, everythings gone mental since I started college! I knew it would which is why I worked so hard to get the looks all done, feeling pretty smug now I must say :) Turn up the volume on wmm? Wow that will be the answer! I do talk quietly so it will save me having to shout next time. Thanks for looking after me xx
Another great job...just some constructive criticism (I find I have to be careful of this too...)...please make sure you're speaking clearly and loud enough for your audience to hear. There are parts where we can't hear you. It's not your accent, you are just very soft-spoken. :)
@ShadowBoxStudioMUA I really really appreciate constructive criticism Tanya, thanks so much for pointing this out, I wouldn' t have known otherwise, Ana just said the same. I use earphones on my laptop so didn't notice the sound. I will have to go through it and put some subtitles on! xx
@joannadelilah If I was able to let a sticky glue flame Is not prudent for me or for anyone around me do this XD but I watch and say :O every three seconds, this is what I can do XD

@katinka0921 It looks flimsy but it's actually really strong stuff so you could definately do this technique and add cheeks to it in the same way xx

@joannadelilah yay! I decided to give it a try and it turned out awesome :) All I have to do now is paint it!
