The more I read about him, the more fascinated I get. Taking on the NFL with the AFL to create nearly half the current league, stealing players out of hotel room windows in the 60s and watching every 2002 World Cup game in Korea at age 70.

One of the All Time Greats in Professional football, there won't ever be a satisfactory way to thank Lamar Hunt for all he has done for the game.

He was an inspiration to football all over the world. (excluding soccer). He was a very nice and polite man. I know, I met him twice. He was very giving to the sport. I hope we Chiefs and Raider fans can set aside our differences and KICK CHARGER ASS THIS WEEK!

The guy didn't just help establish the AFL/NFL. He helped bring up MLS which resulted in a better US national team.

Without Lamar Hunt, the NFL would not be what it is today. He has done so much for this sport and will be missed by football fans everywhere. Rest in Peace Lamar
