LMAO! I was another once-naieve little child when this sueism anime first appeared on USA's Action Extreme Team morning hours, and to think this was awesome anime. Oh how I was sooo wrong. For all the Mary/Gary-Sueism, Pedophilia, Incest, Bestiality and poor writing of the story and characters it's still amazing how popular this dramafest is. Still a guy appearing out of nowhere throwing a flower at a monster cracks me up. I've watched from Queen Beryl to Sailor Galaxia.

While of poor quality, yes, you have to understand: anime made into live action just doesn't work. Anime is just too fantastical and stylized to make into live action without making the budget INCREDIBLY high, something no studio could afford to do, so ANY anime turned live action is going to be of similar quality.

After that they did this live action one. The live action one I think follows the manga series the way it was suppose to be.

It's amazing how many of you people are dissing this show at first look. I'm not betraying the anime or anything, but the anime is one of the worst excuses for an adaption, whereas the live action ACTUALLY gave development to the senshi. Rather than making them characters with plastic personalities (I mean, seriously, MINAKO).

It is also a very heartful adaption to the manga, and any respectful SM fan would appreciate the effort put into this. The creator of SM was disappointed with the anime
