Is that a Dutch made bike/tandem at 1:28 that the lady in rear and the young lad in front is on? Do you know the brand/maker of it? Thank you for your hard work you put into filming these shots.
Oh, how I wish I were Dutch and lived in Amsterdam:). Bristol may be the UK's cycling city, but we have an awfully long way to go to get facilities like this (sighs heavily). Still, we have the lovely Bristol to Bath Railway Path, which is a start.
Bike's seem to be the popular transport of choice in the low countries. I went on a weekend break last year, hired a bike and enjoyed it. People are nice and friendly and actually helpful to dumbass non dutch speaking people like me :)
watching this kind of video makes me mad of how people think that, here in Sao Paulo, its impossible to ride bikes. i dont think Amsterdam was built for bicycles either. but people ride their bikes in there. would you believe me if i told you that here in Brazil, people dont like bikes because they dont wanna "feel sweaty" ?
What would happen if any someone drove like most Americans over there?
I was taught to drive like most videos show of Dutch. It seems like I make people angry by stopping at a stop sign, yielding at crossings, not running a red light when turning right and driving the speed limit..
And riding a bike with the same mentality is even worse.
@cyclenut The Dutch are just average drivers, really. It's the infrastructure that seems to make everything work, the people themselves aren't better or worse. For example, in the vast majority of the U.S. it's totally legal for cars to turn right on red. In the Netherlands, it's not.
Simply....Beautifull......love the music also.....

Is that why Dutch don't like Americans?
