I;ve Quickscoped for a long time. and I have an idea which would work. I like black ops sniping, the only thing i dislike is the random bullet fire direction within 'sway' time of zooming in (meaning untill the sway stops it wont shoot straight every time) so the solution is easy and easy to implement into the game. keep the sway, remove the random bullet direction. this way it will put qsers to a disadvantage but but make them happy. and make gunners happy as there are less qsers.
for those of you who don't understand what the hell he's saying and didn't read the whole post yourself, here's what it said in a short summary. They are going to "fix" snipers but very slowly. So don't be expecting any rapid noticeable changes in the next day or two. What they were able to confirm and are doing now is that they're increasing the helmet, head, and neck multipliers. After then, they will slowly nerf the sniper patch (one that made your sniper sway fucked up). Please thumb up :)
@karuspartan dood all they have to do is fix the sway... which there doing by the next titile update.... there doing it slowly so that they adjust it so perfectly that nobody complains afterwards. There fixing the sway and multipliers which is what they patched in the first place.. there just not gonna make qs as easy as mw2 because it got out of hand... they wanna ''adjust it into tunables'' that everyone can be happy with.

why is there so many people complaining about quickscoping? I think its more rewarding when you quickscope in this game then in MW2 were anyone could quickscope
@sockeymeow its not 100% luck unless you try to quickscope like in MW2. This game you have to wait about 2 seconds to fire which would be a quickscope. Its almost like WAW's quickscoping. Every COD has a different type of quickscope.

I read his whole post and it stated nothing about bringing Quickscoping back, you should change the title to "Treyarch evaluating Sniper Rifles." I myself couldn't give a shit if it comes back or not because I didn't have a problem with QS'ing. I just wish they would fix the problems they have with the Sniper Rifles now. The updates do not state anywhere that QS is coming back. There are numerous tests taking place which may lead to hit detection improving. Further to that, they may allow snipers to Quick scope but only whilst, crouching or in a prone position.
Its pretty stupid really. By just removing the last patch, would allow quick scoping to be part of the game. But there are so many factors within this game which will still place a un-patched sniper as an underdog in 1v1 situations.
@allbrosdjay Only one DUH. Hit detection means your sniping kill ratio will be better. It has nothing to do with Quick Scoping. Hit detection will not straighten the bullets to allow you to shoot immediately when you zoom in.

i have no problems with QuickScoping, i dont do it myself but none the less i dont care if others do. BUT they took it out for a reason, i get that it takes skill to QS but why not take a new game and use your skill to come up with something new, and or fig out how to QS in black ops.

I just reckon they should put quick scoping back to the way it was, even before the patch it looked like cod4 sniping, that was good, heck even MW2 was good, quick scoping wasn't even the problem in MW2, it was danger close, noob tubes and one man army...

To be honest I'm not that bothered about quickscoping in black ops because I prefer cod 4 multiplayer anyway, but it would be good for when I do play black ops occasionally. But yet again they don't say specifically that quickscoping is going to be fully restored :/

The updates do not state anywhere that QS is coming back. There are numerous tests taking place which may lead to hit detection improving. Further to that, they may allow snipers to Quick scope but only whilst, crouching or in a prone position.
Its pretty stupid really. By just removing the last patch, would allow quick scoping to be part of the game. But there are so many factors within this game which will still place a un-patched sniper as an underdog in 1v1 situations.

@allbrosdjay Only one DUH. Hit detection means your sniping kill ratio will be better. It has nothing to do with Quick Scoping. Hit detection will not straighten the bullets to allow you to shoot immediately when you zoom in.
